Kelly Shefelbine is a seasoned change management professional with 30 years of experience in rail transportation and logistics. As a recognized rail and logistics expert, Kelly specializes in strategic business planning and cross-functional leadership, bringing deep industry insight to every engagement. She offers strategic guidance on process improvement, organizational development, and supply chain solutions, drawing from her extensive experience in the rail industry.
Throughout her career, Kelly has consistently delivered results by developing and implementing strategic initiatives across merchandise, agricultural, food products, and international markets. Her leadership was instrumental in several critical initiatives, including the development of new pricing structures that enabled systematic approaches to price effectiveness and optimization for merchandise business bases as large as $3.6 billion in annual revenue.
Over her extensive tenure at CSXT, Kelly rose through progressive leadership roles from Director to Assistant Vice President positions, managing teams that consistently achieved growth targets. Her Inside Sales Merchandise team realized year-over-year growth of 8.9% while exceeding pricing targets of 6.5%. She also expanded product development and implementation of service products while developing new initiatives for growth in various markets.
Kelly holds an MBA from the University of Nebraska at and a BS in Business Administration from Creighton University. She is a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville and has served on the board of St. John Riverkeeper.
