Throughout her career, Margaret has consistently delivered results by developing and implementing strategic transportation solutions across the fertilizer sector. Her leadership was instrumental in several critical initiatives, including developing new rail locations for customers and executing key fertilizer market strategies, where she successfully balanced growth with profitability.
Over her 12-year tenure at CSX Transportation, Margaret progressed through various roles from Assistant Market Manager to Senior Account Manager in the Fertilizer Sales and Marketing division. In this capacity, she managed a fertilizer account portfolio of approximately $160 million, negotiated and closed large commercial contracts, and developed new business opportunities with each customer account.
Prior to her Senior Account Manager role, Margaret served as Market Manager for Nitrogen Products at CSX, where she managed a $40 million fertilizer market and identified new market share opportunities through market analysis. She also gained valuable experience as Transportation Manager at Transammonia, where she managed rail transportation shipments, negotiated transportation contracts with every class 1 railroad, and developed logistic strategies to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Margaret holds an MBA from the University of Tampa and a BS in Accounting from Florida State University.
