As a recognized petrochemical and advanced recycling expert, Robert specializes in strategic growth initiatives, sustainability solutions, and complex commercial negotiations, bringing deep industry insight to every venture. He offers strategic guidance on circularity, market development, and supply chain solutions, drawing from his extensive experience across chemical manufacturing and renewable industries.
Throughout his career, Robert has consistently delivered results by developing and implementing strategic solutions across chemical, petrochemical, and advanced recycling sectors. His leadership was instrumental in several critical initiatives, including major capital projects delivered on time and on budget, and turning struggling businesses into sustainable entities, where he successfully balanced growth with profitability.
Over his career, Robert held progressively responsible positions at leading companies including BASF TOTAL Petrochemicals, where he served as Business Director for 10 years, and various leadership roles at BASF across North America and Europe before founding 245Recycle, an advanced recycling company focused on reducing plastic waste and helping petrochemical and refining companies meet circularity and sustainability goals.
He holds an MBA from The University of Western Ontario – Richard Ivey School of Business and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Manitoba.
